Zoom – how to join a meeting (guide)
To join a Zoom meeting, open the invitation link, or go to zoom.us/join and enter the meeting ID. You can join from the Zoom app or from a web browser.

- Open the invitation link you received, or go to zoom.us/join.
- Enter the meeting ID and, if asked, the passcode from the invitation.
- Open the meeting in the Zoom app, or choose to join from your browser.
- Allow the microphone and the camera, then choose Join audio.
If it does not work
No sound: choose Join audio, check that you are not muted and select the right speaker and microphone in the audio settings.
Waiting room: the host has to let you in. Use a name the host will recognise.

Do I need a Zoom account to join?
Usually not. Some hosts allow only signed-in participants; in that case, sign in or create a free account.
Is this the official Zoom website?
No. Tachlis is an independent guide. Sign in only on the official website or app, and never enter your password on a page you reached through a link in a message.
