Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live email accounts sign in at outlook.live.com with a Microsoft account. If you forgot the password, reset it on the official Microsoft password reset page.
Tachlis is not affiliated with Outlook. This is an independent guide. Tachlis never asks for your password.
Go to the official Outlook website →Step by step
- Open outlook.live.com or the Outlook app.
- Choose Sign in and enter your full email address, for example name@hotmail.com or name@outlook.com.
- Enter your password, or approve the sign-in in the Microsoft Authenticator app if you use it.
- Forgot the password? Choose Forgot password, or open account.live.com/password/reset.
If it does not work
Microsoft may close Outlook.com accounts that have not been used for about two years. If the account no longer exists, you need to create a new one.
Work or school email addresses are managed by your organisation: ask its IT team for help.
